Short Heading
This is a heading for your content and will usually be displayed at the top of the content in a heading style on your website. It is also on view in your Content Manager to enable you to identify each piece of content easily. You should not use codes or special characters in this field as it can also be used to identify content by page and codes and special characters will not allow this to work correctly.
Descriptions
There are three main descriptions; First, Second and Third. Each can be used or placed as your design templates dictate. This allows a very flexible design.
First description
This description should be the full description, shown on the main listings page. You may enter as much information as you like into this field. The formatting of the details depends on the type of content and template used to display the end result.
Second and Third descriptions:
These are the secondary text fields for each piece of content. You may enter as much information as you like into these fields.
These descriptions can be used in many different ways.
You may show the First Description as a short listing and when someone clicks on the heading they will be shown the Second Description.
Third description can be used as a keywords list for that piece of content, or searchable but not displayable.
The three content fields can be combined to produce more specific information.
Discuss these options with your Webmaster for further details.
Files/Images - Attach a file/image
See Attaching Files and Images for more details.
Weblink / email address
If a piece of content can display a web link or email address then adding it here will show that link when being displayed in the browser.
Dispaying this field is dependant on the template associated with this piece of content.

Assign to user
When editing text that persons ID is stored along with the content to identify who created/edited it.

Content part of...
each piece of content usually stands on its own as an individual piece of information, if there is more information relating to that subject then content canbe attached to other pieces of content.
As an example in our list 'Content Management System' is the main content and there are several extra pieces of content attached to it which appear underneath the menu as Creating Content, Editing Content, Editing Content inline, Attaching Files and Images, Adding Extra file or images, Importing Content, Exporting Content
Each of these items can be dispayed as individual items but are part of the main content item, in this case 'Content Management System'.
The
Question mark icon can be used to display information about that field and what display options are available.
